The lessons on Shahmaran are free to read, and free to share. Their text is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 license (CC BY-NC 4.0).
What you can do
- Copy, print and hand out a lesson.
- Use it in a class, a library program, a tutoring session or a settlement workshop.
- Change it to fit your learners: shorten it, translate it, add your own examples.
What we ask
- Give credit. Write "From Shahmaran, shahmaran.app" with a link to the lesson, and say if you changed it.
- Keep it free. Do not sell it, or put it inside something people pay for, without asking first.
What this does not cover
- Other people's words. Quotes inside a lesson belong to the people and groups who wrote them, and keep their own terms.
- The founding documents. Constitutions and other official texts are reproduced from their official sources and keep those sources' terms.
- Pictures and the app itself. Images, drawings, logos, the design and the code are not part of this license.
